Sightseeing: Anchorage

The second leg of my trip took me to Anchorage, Alaska. As I would like to visit all of the American states I knew I'd have to come here one day, so it made sense to couple it with Iceland. I didn't actually spend too much time sightseeing the city, it's like anytown USA with little to offer the tourist. I did find some art and did a walk along the waters edge, which kept me happy.

Some local salmon for dinner

They have a planet walk which shows the relative distances between planets from the sun. I walked as far as the venus sign. I can only image the pluto is miles away well out of the town.

This has nothing to do with the snooker player.
