A classic film celebrating it's 45th anniversary (making it as old as me) and a chance to see it on a big screen. Set in a future where the people have destroyed the planet a decision is taken to preserve some eco systems in space. Bruce Dern is one of the caretaker crew and gets the news to destroy the domes he's invested his years maintaining. He goes rogue in an attempt to preserve them, and accompanied by 3 maintenance droids (that became the inspiration to R2D2) we get a rather lovely film that has stood the test of time really well.
