Film #54: Deadpool 2

Following the success of Infinity War we get our next Marvel franchise and it's the second outing for Deadpool. The first film's gamble to go R-rated paid off significantly so we have more of the same this time, no bad thing.

In this story Deadpool is trying to protect a young mutant called "Fire Fist" from Cable, who has come from the future having seen how powerful the kid gets when he's older; a plot not too dissimilar to Terminator 2 I guess.

So we get 90 minutes of in-jokes, crude humour and fourth wall breaking swipes along with over the top violence, some interesting surprise cameos and an excellent anthem if you make it through to the end of the credits.
