A return to the David Brent character for Ricky Gervais but not a return to the laughs. This film sees David having a mid-life crisis, deciding to leave work to tour with a rock band that doesn't like him. It's full of cringe and some laughs but I'm not sure why it was made, was it to massage Ricky's ego a little? Unfortunately he's never going to top his XFM podcasts which I return to time and time again...I won't be returning to this film.
