Film: Mindhorn

Mindhorn is a British comedy which may put some people off, but if you like the Alan Partridge film then you should give this a go. Julian Baratt from The Mighty Boosh plays Richard Thorncroft, a washed up 80s TV personality famous for playing Mindhorn, a cop with the ability to tell if people are telling the truth or not. He's asked to resurrect the character to help in an investigation on the Isle of Mann when a serial killer asks that he be involved in the case.

Being British we have humour of the cringe type with Mindhorn testing your sensibilities and some amusing characters adding to the laughs (a stuntman was particularly amusing). I went in not expecting much, but did find myself laughing so I guess that's a good thing. Steve Coogan has a cameo but doesn't still the film.

and to save you sitting through the credits here's the extra bit at the end...A rather catchy little number from Thorncroft.
