Film #4: Naqoyqatsi

My first Prince Charles Cinema event of 2018 was the triple bill of Qatsi films. The final one of these I also hadn't seen before.

This film was not like the other two at all. It still had the amazing soundtrack but the visuals were all American based and there was a lot of CGI and post-production unlike the more natural style of the others. A lot of the shots looked over exposed too, which didn't really work.

Naqoyqatsi is Hopi for "Life as War" and that's the message of this film and probably explains the US focus. This one had input from Stephen Soderbergh.
